Wood Turning Class in Lancaster, PA

If you’re just getting started in woodworking, consider trying a one-day woodturning class. The class is hosted in my workshop in Lancaster County, PA.

Class Overview

In this course, you’ll learn how to:

  • Identify and sharpen wood turning tools

  • Understand the anatomy of the lathe

  • Apply different turning techniques

During the workshop, you will learn spindle turning to create forms such as balusters, legs, and other forms that integrate with chair design.

If you’re interested in chair making but uncertain about the commitment, this workshop is an easy first step.

Required Tools

No need to purchase your own tools for this class. Instead, I encourage you to test out the tools in my workshop. This will help you decide which ones work best for you.

However, I request you bring closed-toed shoes, eye protection, and ear protection.
